Distractions
December is almost over and Project Sally is not completed. There were some problems with the video that I took, it’s now at the foto shop, hopefully I could get it back tomorrow, ready to be edited and added to the photos.
Now I remember the difficulties in doing volunteer work – it tends to be sidelined when more pressing matters (WORK, family, etc) scream for your attention.
Again, I apologise for my tardiness.

A visit
Davie and I met with Cik Sally today! After STF OGA’s open house, we went to see her at her brother’s place, somewhere in Kajang. She’s looking better, not as skinny as Davie described her 3-4 months back.
She has finished her chemo theraphy sessions and will start on radio theraphy soon.

We spent a couple of hours with her and her family, it would’ve been great timing to give her Project Sally’s end product but… oh well.

My apologies
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Project Sally is still in progress. There were problems in transferring the visuals I took when I went to JB in October and I only found out about it on Tuesday. I guess it is time for me to fork out some dosh to get my own digital videocam.
I will try very hard to finish everything, hopefully in this seven days. Insya-allah.

In the middle
Salam everyone,
Today is the 15th of November, meaning that we’ve past the halfway mark of Project Sally. I still need more photos, especially from the 80s and the more current ones. Or else, Cik Sally will be bored looking at the same people over and over again. Or maybe not. 
So please, please spread the word, there is still time to send in pics. I’ll go over to your place or meet you anywhere (yes, even Ampang and the confusing Shah Alam) to get them, if you can’t scan them.

What we have so far
To start off, I had enlisted the help of friends to spread the word in the hope that many would contribute at least a photo to the project.
On September 29, Suhaima (91-95) was the first to send in a batch of photos for Project Sally.
On the 17th and 18th of October, I had went down to JB and gone to take more photos and video footages of STF as well as its teachers and students.
On the 27th of October, I had met up with several members of batch 893 and was able to obtain more photos from Shairyzah.
Idlan has been appointed as UK rep for collecting as many images (video or otherwise) for Project Sally. Would anyone be interested in being the US rep?
